H.E Dr. Wissam Rabadi

Dr. Wissam Rabadi is an executive with over 20 years of experience in Economic Development, Strategic Planning, Entrepreneurship Support, Investment and Innovation Management. He served as the Minister of planning and International cooperation from 2019 to 2020.

Dr. Rabadi was the Chief of Party for the USAID Jordan Competitiveness Program (JCP), a 6 years $50M project with the objective of enhancing the competitiveness of the Jordanian Private Sector in high growth sectors such as ICT, CleanTech and Life Sciences.

Dr. Rabadi held several academic positions at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), the American University in Dubai (AUD), the University of Houston and at the Center for Research in Electro-Optics and Laser (CREOL) in Florida, USA. He also carried several consulting engagements with the World Bank, European Investment Bank and EU.

Dr. Rabadi holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan, a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
